Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Dusty. Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings. Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools. Install sheet metal flashings. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Morning. Day. Weekend. Overtime available. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for mature workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers .
