About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Nursing Aide Certificate. Health Care Aide Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Immunization records. Tuberculosis test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
