Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Residential. Various locations. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints. Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Estimate costs and materials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
