Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Tasks: Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Employment terms options: Flexible hours. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations .
