About this role
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Inspect motor in operation. Test automotive systems and components. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs . Perform scheduled maintenance service. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Provide customer service. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
