About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Commercial building. Residential. Construction. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Load and unload goods. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers. Power tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding.
