Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff. Hire, train and supervise staff. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Schedule work. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
