Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Plan and control budget and inventory. Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies. Hire, train and supervise staff. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Advise clients on hair colour, hairstyles, make-up, clothing and accessories. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Analyze hair and scalp condition. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
