About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Perform routine maintenance work. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
