Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Tasks: Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders. Prescribe medication and treatment . Refer patients for surgery. Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases. Act as consultants to other physicians. Advise patients on health care.
