Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage. Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals. Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication. Check prescriptions for proper dosage. Manage the storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
