About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Order supplies and equipment. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Manage kitchen operations. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
