About this role

Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Office building. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings. Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Documentation knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Testing equipment and methods: Visual inspection. Civil engineering experience: Buildings and structures.
