About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Read and interpret work orders. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Clean and maintain work space. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
