Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Repair or replace mechanical units or components. Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs . Perform scheduled maintenance service. Test and adjust units to specifications. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Coach and instruct apprentices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification. Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
