Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment.
