About this role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Work site environment: Viticulture. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Outdoors. Tasks: Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Implement soil fertility programs. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pesticide Applicator's Licence. Type of crops: Grapes. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system. Fertilizer applicator.
