About this role
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Perform routine equipment maintenance. Monitor environment and maintain optimum conditions. Maintain accurate records. Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Ensure compliance with government regulations. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Oversee deleafing horticultural crops activities. Inspect final products. Technical experience: Greenhouse production programs. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?.
