Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Analyze tenders and recommend awards. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems. Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors. Prepare budget and cost estimates. Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers. Plan, administer and control budgets for projects, programs, support services and equipment. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Prepare reports for senior management. Estimate costs of operations in terms of labour, equipment and maintenance. Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. Equipment and machinery experience: HVAC. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?.
