About this role
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Conduct component defect investigations, examinations and tests. Detain aircraft suspected of being unairworthy or unsafe. Inspect aircraft and advise of any deficiencies. Prepare draft investigative reports of findings. Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards. Recommend corrective or enforcement action. Conduct inspections and tests of a variety of mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems. Select and purchase equipment and supplies. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services. Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Type of inspection: Aircraft.
