Tasks: Feed aquaculture stock. Maintain aquaculture equipment. Operate aquaculture equipment. Write daily basic progress reports. Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks . Rake and gather marine plants. Spread and dry marine plants. Transport marine plants to processing plants. Dig shellfish from shellfish beds. Clean, sort and pack shellfish. Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms. Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks. Type of aquaculture operations: Aquaculture — mussels. Type of fishing: Mussel socking and harvesting. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding.
