Greenhouse. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Greenhouse cleaning. Implement soil fertility programs. Mixing fertilizer. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Weeding. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Supervision: 3-4 people. Type of crops: Greenhouse vegetables. Technical experience: Greenhouse production programs. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system.
