Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Aircraft manufacturing. Tasks: Assemble and fit pre-fabricated parts to form subassemblies. Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and subassemblies. Perform and document routine maintenance. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems. Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble. Troubleshoot aircraft structural systems. Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures. Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures.
