Tasks: Clean, sanitize and dry aquaculture equipment before the next use to prevent the introduction of pathogens and disease. Feed aquaculture stock. Maintain aquaculture equipment. Operate aquaculture equipment. Report stock irregularities to supervisors . Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks . Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures. Transport marine plants to processing plants. Dig shellfish from shellfish beds. Clean, sort and pack shellfish. Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms. Administer first-aid and other assistance. Type of aquaculture operations: Aquaculture — mussels. Type of fishing: Clean and repair mussel collectors. Mussel socking and harvesting. Equipment and machinery experience: Small boat. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
