Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Area of specialization: Organizational analysis.
