Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Scent free. Work setting: Employer's home. Tasks: Change diapers. Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Care for foster children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Experience with special needs children: Children with allergies. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Reference required. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Time management. Patience. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
