Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Asset languages: Mandarin. Panjabi; Punjabi. Work setting: Private clinic. Tasks: Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment. Operate electromyography and diagnostic equipment. Prepare recordings and reports of findings for physicians. Review patient's case history and assess nature of problem to determine procedures and tests required. Take notes on the recorded graph to identify interference. Monitor cardiac activity and record results. Operate electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound and other electronic equipment. Perform cardiovascular procedures and tests. Prepare reports for interpretation by cardiologists. Reprogram pacemakers according to required standards. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail.
