Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Assist with landscape constructions. Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cut grass. Remove litter and garbage. Cart and spread topsoil and other materials. Lay sod or seed. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees. Apply fertilizers. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
