About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment. Repair or replace defective telephone equipment. Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software. Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
