Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Motor vehicle repair shop. Management. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Manage staff and assign duties. Determine staffing requirements. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Schedule work. Consult with suppliers. Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services. Greet customers. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Prepare and track work orders. Help with scheduling and workflow. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments. Review work orders . Direct the operations of an organization or department that provides services.
