About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units. Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required. Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
