Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : DZ class license. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Driver logbook. Type of trucking and equipment: Dump truck. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Experience: Will train. Workplace information: On the road job.
