*Job Summary* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items. *Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using established recipes and standards. * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash, credit card transactions, and receipts. * Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces. * Handle food safely according to health regulations and company policies. * Perform food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed. * Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods. * Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times. * Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. * Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and friendly demeanor. * Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and register operations accurately. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. * Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Previous experience in serving or cashiering roles is advantageous.
