*Overview* We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance and proactive security measures. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks * Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed * Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms or disturbances * Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes * Enforce company policies related to loss prevention and access control * Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining security protocols * Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns
*Qualifications*
* Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required * Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is advantageous * Strong observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly * Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour * Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
