Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Train or arrange for training. Estimate costs and materials. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Supervision: 5-10 people. Mechanical repairers (motor vehicle manufacturing).
