About this role
Listowel Ford is looking for a permanent, full-time Automotive Service Technician to join our service team in Listowel, Ontario. The successful candidate will perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to dealership standards and safety procedures.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders * Road test motor vehicles * Test automotive systems and components * Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems * Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer?s specifications * Perform scheduled maintenance service * Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
*Requirements:*
* Automotive Service Technician Trade Certificate * Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive service technician * Strong diagnostic and repair skills * Commitment to quality work and fixing it right the first time * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Fluency in English
