About this role

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support dental practitioners in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced dental technology and contribute to improving patients? oral health. Prior experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies using CAD technology. * Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix. * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. * Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health regulations. * Support the front desk team as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/out processes. * Assist in patient education regarding oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

*Qualifications*

* Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program. * Experience working with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix is preferred. * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is highly advantageous. * Familiarity with CAD systems used in dentistry for digital impressions or restorations is a plus. * Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Prior experience working as a dental receptionist or in similar administrative roles is beneficial but not required. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$34.18 per hour
