We're currently looking for a motivated lawn care specialist to join our mowing team and help keep our clients' properties looking their best.
Job Description:
As a lawn care specialist you will be responsible for performing routine lawn maintenance services, primarily mowing residential and commercial properties within the community. This is a physically active, outdoor position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic. This position is available immediately.
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers and other lawn care equipment.
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
- Preform basic maintenance on lawn care equipment, cleaning, refuelling, and blade checks.
- Follow daily route schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work early mornings and flexible hours.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic mechanical skills or willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and operating machinery and working in the heat of Kootenay's summers.
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Mid March - November (End date is weather dependent)
- Monday- Friday
- Weekends off
- All Statutory Holidays off
