As a _*Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis *__at CIMS LP__*, *__you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by owning the creation of financial reporting packages for leadership, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, KPI development, project/operations financial reporting, and cash flow management while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion._
_*You will report to the Director of Finance and be accountable for:*_
* Developing and executing sound strategies to implement the corporate strategic plan with respect to the FP&A function. * Supporting ERP transition activities (Implementation complete), including documentation and implementation of updated processes and procedures arising from system changes * Leading, mentoring, and developing the reporting and analysis staff through effective communication, guidance, regular meetings, performance feedback, and training opportunities. * Preparing and delivering monthly financial reporting packages for leadership (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and supporting analysis) in alignment with board meeting dates. * Supporting timely and accurate financial reporting, including review of intercompany transactions. * Conducting variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and providing clear, actionable narratives to leadership. * Leading the annual budgeting process in coordination with the Director of Finance and business unit leaders.
_*A successful candidate would be an individual who has:*_
* An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation required (or a combination of foreign equivalent and related job experience accepted). * A minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, analysis, or FP&A roles. * Experience in a construction, real estate, or project-based industry is considered an asset; prior public practice experience with an assurance focus is also an asset. * Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/ASPE), budgeting, and variance analysis. * Familiarity with ERP systems; Microsoft Business Central experience is an advantage. * An understanding of cash flow management and working capital analysis. * A strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. * A high attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and reporting integrity.

* Office environment; work to deadlines with periodic high-urgency periods (e.g., month-end close, audit, payroll processing). * Occasional high-stress situations including collections management and regulatory deadlines. * May be required to work outside of normal business hours on occasion to meet business needs, particularly during month-end reporting, budget cycles, or board meeting preparation.
