About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation . Hire food service staff. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Establish work schedules. Supervision: 3-4 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Do you have experience working in this field?.
