I?m currently hiring a Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator for a well-established manufacturing company recognized for its expertise in regulated product manufacturing and packaging. Mission Reporting to the Quality, Health & Safety Director, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the company?s HSE culture across manufacturing operations. You will contribute to regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include: ? Supporting the implementation and improvement of HSE policies and procedures ? Conducting inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations ? Following up on corrective and preventive actions ? Coordinating HSE training programs (WHMIS, lockout/tagout, PPE, ergonomics, confined spaces, etc.) ? Maintaining HSE documentation and compliance records ? Supporting emergency response planning and prevention initiatives ? Contributing to environmental management activities (waste, chemicals, emissions, water, etc.) ? Participating in audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement projects ? Working closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams ? Promoting a proactive safety and compliance culture on the floor Your profile We are looking for a hands-on, organized, and proactive professional comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment. What we?re looking for: ? College or university degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, or related field ? 5-10 years of relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environments ? Strong knowledge of Canadian HSE regulations and standards ? Experience with audits, inspections, and HSE documentation ? Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills ? Continuous improvement mindset and field-oriented leadership Assets: ? Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments ?
