About this role
*Busy Dental office in Waterloo looking to add Full-time Receptionist to their team. The ideal candidate will be professional and self-motivated with strong communication and customer service skills. A positive and proactive attitude along with previous experience in a dental environment is required.*
*Responsibilities include:*
* Attending patients on the phone, in person, text, and email. Coordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office during busy times.
* Maintains patient relations through ongoing dialogue with patients before, during, and after treatment. Identifies and responds to unsatisfied patients with the appropriate recovery action. Requesting patients for feedback with positive patient satisfaction being the top priority.
* Develops and maintains records of insurance plans and social services programs to maximize patient access to dental care funding. Making sure all up to date financial breakdown for the treatment is available daily for patients scheduled for the day.
* Maintains accurate billing, patient records, and prepares/submits timely reports related to the Dental Office on a daily and monthly basis.
* Optimizes appointment book/schedule to achieve weekly and monthly targets and efficiencies through treatment plan monitoring, patient information flow, and continuous patient contact.
* Following up with insurance plan providers and patients on aging outstanding payments
* Must be available to work Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Experience: * Canadian dental admin: 1 year (preferred)
