*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and law enforcement practices. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
*Responsibilities*
* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. * Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. * Utilize surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. * Respond quickly to alarms or emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action. * Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences for management review. * Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security breaches or criminal activity. * Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is highly desirable. * Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is an asset. * Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. * Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. * Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
