About this role

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster developmental growth through innovative teaching methods. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children's social and emotional development, and collaborating with parents and team members to ensure a positive educational experience.

*Responsibilities*

* Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards. * Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning. * Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, providing tailored support as needed. * Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and educational needs. * Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and classroom activities. * Collaborate with colleagues to organize classroom activities, events, and curriculum enhancements. * Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the classroom environment. * Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.

*Skills*

* Proficiency in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus. * Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings. * Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. * Ability to work well with children with disabilities or special needs; experience in special education is advantageous. * Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation. * Time management skills to balance lesson planning, classroom supervision, and administrative tasks. * Leadership qualities to guide children?s learning experiences confidently. * Writing skills for maintaining detailed records and communicating with parents.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
