*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical systems, including low voltage applications and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The Electrician will work on construction sites, renovation projects, and ongoing maintenance tasks, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure.
*Responsibilities*
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems. * Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment in industrial or commercial settings. * Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently. * Perform renovation work by upgrading or replacing outdated or faulty electrical components. * Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes. * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes. * Collaborate with construction teams or contractors during new builds or renovations to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. * Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability. * Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments. * Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams. * Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. * Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). * Experience working on renovation projects or upgrades in existing facilities. * Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work and working at heights or in confined spaces is preferred. * Additional handyman experience is a plus but not required.
