About this role
Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems. Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools and equipment. Identify and resolve drivability, performance, and safety issues. Perform routine maintenance and inspections including oil changes, tire rotations and alignments, brake services, fluid checks, battery replacement, and multi-point inspections, while ensuring safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency standards. Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet safety and quality standards. Complete repairs according to OEM specifications and procedures. Replace worn or damaged components as required. Test and verify proper operation after repairs. Collaborate with certified technicians and other team members to diagnose and resolve complex issues, contributing technical knowledge and supporting effective problem solving. Use internal digital tools to update information related to repair orders in accordance with the dynamics of daily operations Follow company procedures, OH&S regulations, and shop safety protocols at all time. Keep work bays, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition. Road test vehicles when required and permitted to verify repairs. NOTE: A Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate is considered a strong asset and may be taken into account when discussing salary for the right candidate. Candidates without certification will also be considered if they can demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience and solid technical knowledge in the automotive field. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and proven ability to successfully perform the role. Only candidates legally authorized to work in Canada will be considered
