*Duties*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment. * Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. * Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. * A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.
