Wage: $17.60 per hour
Additional Compensation: Performance bonuses available to all employees based on quality of work
About the Role
Greenhouse general farm labourer supports daily crop production activities to ensure healthy plants and high-quality harvests. This role involves physical, repetitive tasks and requires reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
* Planting, pruning, clipping, and general crop maintenance * Harvesting and packing produce according to quality standards * Monitoring plant health and reporting concerns to supervisors * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment * Following all workplace policies, safety procedures, and biosecurity protocols * Supporting additional greenhouse tasks as needed
· Daily cleaning of Facilities
Qualifications
* Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting * Comfortable working in warm, humid greenhouse conditions * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Reliable, punctual, and safety?minded * Previous greenhouse or agricultural experience is an asset but not required * no education required
