What are you accountable for?
• Responsible for daily management of permitting activities by vendors scopes shall include weekly update on progress, escalation to vendors management and reporting to Permitting Lead and Permitting Project Manager
• To have strong relationship with all road owners such as local councils (PBT), JKR & Landlords
• Managing relationship to jurisdictions and ROW contacts such as local councils (PBT), JKR & Landlords.
• Responsible for daily management of permitting activities by vendors scopes shall include daily update on progress, escalation to vendors management and reporting to Project Managers
• Working in closely with underlying rights group to identify and prepare start work permit and building access.
• Oversees timely permitting submission, from reviewing and endorsing the Technical Proposal are in line with the Authorities guidelines & requirement, attending JSV, ensuring UDM works/report done accordingly, pushing for the consent letter, BD/BG payment, permit follow up with PBT, JKR & Land Office.
• Monitor & manage all permitting activates by Vendors inclusion liaison with State appointed OSA (One Stop Agency)
• Monitor & manage mapping works activities by Vendors and appointed UDM companies.
• Records and track CPC (Certificate of Practical Completion) acceptance for all completed projects and responsible to trigger the deposit refund from each PBT & JKR
• Assists permitting colleagues on permitting challenges by attending the meeting on behalf and to have good relationship with local councils & authority for immediate solution.
• Timely tracking of project progress, escalation, and consistent reporting to Permitting Lead and Permitting Project Manager in a timely manner.
• At the end of project, to oversee the deposit recovery from LC’s/JKR to be within 2 years period.
What do you need to have for the role?
• Good established repo with JKR, PBT, State OSA, DBKL
• Familiar with utilities permitting procedures in Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak
• Strong technical background in Fiber OSP rollout
