*Job Description*
Butter and Co. bakery located in Nored Plaza in North Nanaimo. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, work ethic and the drive for perfection! Our hours of operation are 7:30 am-5 pm 7 days a week. The candidate must be available for early morning, weekends and holidays
*Duties*
* General Prep: Mixing doughs, proofing and baking bread and pastries, feeding starters, chopping/peeling/cutting fruits and vegetables for various jams and fillings * Laminating and shaping croissants * Making and decorating various tarts, puffs, and cookies * Maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients * Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including equipment, personal tools and utensils; understand and abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements * Monitor and log shortages as required * Cleaning down work area and writing an accurate prep list for the next day * Must be available to work various shifts, including as early as 3 am * Must be available weekends and holidays
